| The directors and volunteers of Global Community Engagement would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us at Jazz for Peace. It was a beautiful sunny Florida day, the music was fantastic and we feel everyone enjoyed themselves greatly. The proceeds from the event will go directly to help Haitian and Dominican children through our service learning programs. It is never too late to help a child. The volunteers and directors of Global Community Engagement want to express our condolences and offer support to all who have suffered as a result of the recent earthquakes in Haiti. A portion of the proceeds from our Spring 2010 fundraising efforts will be donated to appropriate agencies helping the survivors on the island of Hispaniola. Any donations made through our website in the month of January will be directed towards this effort. Peace to all. |
